EL PASO – A former EPISD employee, indicted in a federal corruption probe, is making good money.
A grand jury indicted former EPISD associate superintendent Tomas Gabaldon last November.
He's accused of taking bribes and kickbacks, and using his position to help a business get a contract with the school district.
Right now, Gabaldon is collecting a $63,000 a year salary, as a Special Projects Manager for the Albuquerque School District.
A representative for that district said there's nothing illegal about Gabaldon working for them, while under indictment.
