EL PASO - There's a big change of responsibility at Fort Bliss for the position that controls a lot of money on post.
Command Sergeant Major William Green is retiring and passing the torch to Command Sergeant Major Phillip Pandy. The job is Garrison Command, which takes care of all matters concerning soldiers, their families, and retirees.
"Everything from the access control points on a daily basis, to the operations of all the facilities, anything you see on Fort Bliss we're responsible for managing," said Colonel Joe Simonelli.
Congratulations to Major Green who's retiring after serving us in the army for 28 years.
