EL PASO – A new study confirms what most of us already know: it's costing more to hit the road.
AAA has just released a national study, that finds the cost of driving has gone up over three percent in the last year. The increase is largely due to rising gas and tire prices.
One man told us if fuel costs keep rising, he may have to shut down his delivery business.
“I'd rather not work because I'll be spending more money on gas than what I'll be making. I'll be making like 30, 40 dollars a day for ten hours of work. It's less than five dollars an hour,” said business owner Pedro Cordero.
Many experts say gas prices may reach the $5 a gallon mark by this summer.
