EL PASO - Wind had firefighters on edge all Sunday after two homes went up in flames.
Smoke poured from a mobile home fire in Northeast El Paso about four Sunday afternoon. The man who lived there said he saw sparks and flames outside right before the fire spread to his home and a car.
"When it's very windy, it is very dangerous for us as far as fire spread. That's why we have to be extra careful and make sure we make an aggressive attack on that fire," El Paso Fire Department Spokesman John Concha said.
Firefighters say both the mobile home and the car are a complete loss.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
