Clinic Day at the Mexican Consulate

The Mexican Consulate held more than just its regular services today.

It hosted "Clinic Day" a free clinic which offered blood pressure checkups, vaccinations and chiropractic checkups among other things.

The Mexican Consulate teamed up with the health department and a few other agencies to make the event possible.

Participants like Carlos Vega told us that the free clinic makes it very convenient to check up on vital health aspects.

"It's practical because you can squeeze it in during your errands and, many times, there's no time to go to the clinic," Vega said.

At least 60 people took part in the free clinic.

The Mexican Consulate says it will try to hold the event the last Tuesday of every month.
