UPDATE 9:45 p.m. - Las Cruces Police continue to investigate a shooting that sent one man to University Medical Center in El Paso with a gunshot wound.
It happened around four Monday afternoon on the 2200 block of Bex Street. When officers arrived at the scene they found the victim with at least one gunshot wound. The unidentified man was rushed to UMC for treatment. His condition remained unknown as of Monday night.
Police are following leads but no arrests have been made.
UPDATE 5:16 p.m.-- One man was injured in a shooting Monday afternoon, and Las Cruces police are currently looking for the person responsible.
LCPD is investigating after one man was shot and left wounded.
LCPD said the shooting occurred after 4 p.m. on Monday. Police were called to the 2200 block of Bex St. where a man was suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The victim was airlifted to University Medical Center in El Paso. No further details were released on the victim's injuries.
Police are currently attempting to identify the suspect and are following several leads.
LAS CRUCES-- At least one person is injured after a shooting in Las Cruces.
Reports said one person had a gunshot wound to the abdomen after the incident on 2250 Bex near South Main and Valley.
