Body Found in Lower Valley is Murder Victim

EL PASO – An investigation into a body found in a Lower Valley field yesterday is now a murder investigation.

Police said the woman's body was covered by dirt, brush, and was decomposed.

While police said she was murdered, they are waiting on autopsy results to find out how she died and who she was.

The body was discovered in a dirt field behind a business in the 9500 block N. Loop around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
