EL PASO - The Texas Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing for the Transmountain Road Project next Tuesday, March 22, at 6 p.m.
The hearing will be at Canutillo High, 6675 South Desert Blvd. in the cafeteria.
The purpose is to answer questions about the project that goes from Loop 375 to the Franklin Mountain State Park Entrance, which affects almost 4 miles of main lanes and over 2 miles of frontage roads.
One proposed improvement is expanding the two-lane road to 4 lanes with two-lane frontage roads.
