The next time you stop off at Starbucks for your morning cup of joe, you may notice a few changes.
Since the coffee behemoth is turning 40, it's using the occasion to roll out its new logo, a simpler version of the familiar siren, that no longer includes the words "Starbucks Coffee" on it.
The new design will be featured on cups and merchandise, and will be seen at stores in Beijing, Paris, London and New York.
Starbucks opened in 1971, in a small retail space in Seattle's Pike Place Market.
