EL PASO – Thousands of people turned out yesterday for the city's fifth annual marathon.
About 2,300 runners pounded the pavement along El Paso streets, Sunday. That's 200 more participants than there were last year.
The race included three runs: the 5K and the half and full marathon, which is 26.2 miles.
The event is organized by the nonprofit, El Paso Marathon Foundation.
