EL PASO - The El Paso Humane Society is taking part in the 17th annual Spay Day.
Spay Day is a national day of action to promote spaying or neutering of pets.
The Humane Society is offering 25 free surgeries for the pets of low or fixed income people and there were plenty of takers..
"So far, we've had about 20 people come in and we're just thrilled we're able to help these individuals out so that their animals don't have any more babies," said Betty Hoover, Humane Society Director.
