Seven men were arrested in Central El Paso after sherriff’s deputies seized over 100 pounds of marijuana and other items
EL PASO— Seven men were arrested in Central El Paso after sherriff’s deputies seized over 100 pounds of marijuana and other items.
The El Paso County Sheriff's were sent to the 3700 block of Tyler on a suspicious activity call. Sheriff's deputies found and seized over 112 pounds of marijuana, an undisclosed amount of U.S. cash, as well as a stolen handgun.
Shawn Hegwood, 36, Jesse Williams, 35, Raul Sandoval, 38, and Kenneth Hill, 21, all of El Paso, were charged with possession of marijuana of 50 to under 2,000 pounds. Hegwood has a $40,000 bond while the other three have a $30,000 bond.
Wade Krisean, 20, of Houston, Texas, was also arrested with a $30,000 bond. Ronrico Sims, 30, and Demario Leath, 28, both of Atlanta, Georgia, were arrested. Each have a $30,000 bond.
