DALLAS— The grand Cowboys Stadium knocked some people upside the head after snow fell from the roof, causing some injuries.
Seven people were injured, one of them critically, after ice and snow slid off the roof. The accident occurred at around 1:15 p.m. Dallas time at the stadium in Arlington. Five of the seven were taken to area hospitals in Dallas.
The NFL said in a statement that ice and snow melting off of the stadium roof has “caused several sliding snow falls.”
Only one of the exits is open, which is a truck tunnel located away from the building.
