EL PASO - When cold weather hits and the possibility of snow is in the air, most people do whatever they can to stay out of it.
Cold wind and gloomy skies made for a long walk to class for many UTEP students.
While they bundled up and raced to a heated classroom, that's not an option for construction workers who are forced to brave the elements.
Outside is their office and work doesn't stop when the cold wind comes.
There are still deadlines to meet.

In downtown El Paso, it seems not even a good deal could draw people to these usually jam packed stores.
Those who did come out, came prepared for the weather.
