E-Mail Circulating About Carjackers Is A Hoax, Say Police

An e-mail that's surfaced in El Paso warning about carjackers is a hoax.  That's according to El Paso Police.

The e-mail claims thieves are tricking drivers into leaving their cars with the ignition on and then somehow hop in and run off with the car. But police say nothing like that has been reported and that a similar e-mail message had been circulating a few years ago.
