EL PASO - Family and friends gathered to remember a Montwood student killed in a crash last week. Hundreds of students spent the evening at the high school for a candlelight ceremony for Jennifer Gomez. Students made T-shirts in her memory and talked about what she meant in their lives.
Her friends say the 17-year-old Junior loved to dance and had aspirations of one day becoming a dance teacher. Students at Montwood planned the memorial in hopes of helping out everyone cope with her death.
Gomez and her aunt were killed last week when their car crashed into a school bus in Far East El Paso.
