Police have released a more detailed description of the car that didn't stop after hitting and killing 82-year-old Ignacio Santiesteban in East El Paso Sunday evening.
Police said Special Traffic Investigators have tentatively identified the vehicle as a 1994 – 1997 Acura Integra with damage to the right front wheel. It was first thought the vehicle was a Honda.

EL PASO – Police have released the name of an elderly man who was hit and killed while crossing the street in East El Paso.
Investigators say 82-year-old Ignacio Santiesteban was crossing the 2100 block of Zaragoza when he was hit by two vehicles.
Police say the driver of a Ford F-150, 35-year-old Robert Hernandez, hit Santiesteban around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Another vehicle, described as a Honda, then ran over Santiesteban as he lay in the middle of the road.
The Honda didn't stop.
Hernandez, who did stop, is an El Paso Police officer and was off-duty at the time. A 4-year-old girl who was also in the truck with Hernandez was not hurt.
Investigators say Santiesteban was in a crosswalk.
Police say they'll turn over the case to the District Attorney’s office when their investigation is finished. Anybody with information about the driver of the Honda is asked to call the police Department at 915.832.4400.
