There could be an announcement coming from Verizon about a certain smartphone.
Verizon has announced it is holding a special event at New York City's Lincoln Center this Tuesday.
Industry analysts are speculating it's to announce the iPhone is coming to Verizon.
Rumors about such a move started last year.
Last week, competitor AT&T slashed its price for one iPhone model to $49.
AT&T is the only other carrier to offer the iPhone.
