People Evacuated from Units
EL PASO - Firefighters are on the scene of a massive fire at an apartment complex.
We're told they now have the flames under control.
Crews already evacuated people from their units and have asked the Red Cross to help as well as for Sun Metro to bring buses to house those people.
The fire was called out as a condition 4, which means smoke and flames were coming from the building.
Nearly 30 fire units responded to the scene.
The fire broke out just before 4:30 this morning at 4700 Maxwell.
That's near Hondo Pass and US-54.
We're still waiting to find out how many units flames affected and how the fire started.
We'll post more updates as they become available.
