The Sheriff's Office arrested almost forty people between December 21 and January 1.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with TXDOT, used a $50,000 grant to put extra deputies on patrol over Christmas and New Years.
Deputies arrested 2 people for felonies, cleared 14 warrants, arrested ten people for driving while intoxicated, and cited an additional hundred and ten people. In all, deputies responded to 128 calls for service.
