While it may seem like everyone's calling in sick at work, El Paso is not experiencing a flu outbreak.
There are outbreaks in 5 states but health experts say El Paso's numbers are not alarming.
The city has recorded 108 cases of the flu this season. But the Department of Public Health thinks there may be more cases that haven't been called in to them. There's also plenty of vaccine available at their clinics.
"They think well it's over, but really it's not over," said Roxann Parks, the nursing program manager for the Department of Health. "It's not over until April or May, actually."
Those shots are free for people 18 and under. For more information, go to http://www.ci.el-paso.tx.us/health/ .
