The Fighting Irish strapped up today, but it wasn't in gear.
The Notre Dame football team packed into Lucchese's boots. The store offered the team a discount on all of their kicks and some made sure to bring a bit of El Paso's culture back home.
"I've always been wanting a pair of boots, so this is cool for me; I don't think they have my size, but technically I have a small foot," said offensive lineman Chris Stewart.
"It's just a pretty cool experience, something we're not used to obviously, being able to shop and be part of a culture," said offensive lineman Danny Wenger.
Everyone we talked to said the hospitality El Paso has shown while here has been overwhelming.
