The Salvation Army is releasing its donation numbers during this year's holiday season.
The Salvation Army says they collected $264,000 through those kettles - up 10% since last year. But they said mail-in donations are down this year. They received $98,000 compared to $192,000 last year.
Donations support the programs that the Salvation Army offers, such as youth programming and their food pantry.
