EL PASO - Hundreds came out in droves to send out holiday presents today.
We caught several in line at the United States Post Office on Boeing Dr. this morning.
Many told us why they were late sending their packages.
"Work. We just got out on vacation from the (school) district," said Sandra Robles.
"My wife is a little more different. She'll send it off two weeks ago, but I'm a last minute type of guy," said Lateef Compton.
One woman even had some advice for those who still need to head to the post office.
" Merry Christmas to everybody, and just be patient during the season. That's what it's all about. Love and patience," said Louann Feuerstein.
Workers say if you still need to ship presents, you've got until tomorrow (Tuesday) to send it Priority, and Wednesday by Express mail in order for packages to arrive by the holiday.
As for your Christmas cards, we're told you needed to send them out today (Monday) to arrive in time for the holiday.
