EL PASO - More guilty pleas have been entered in the ongoing El Paso County federal corruption investigation.
Adrian Edward Pena, 36, admitted to bribing an El Paso County Commissioner and an EPISD board member.
The U.S. Attorney says back in 2003, Pena paid $10,000 to a sitting County Commissioner in return for a vote to award a construction contract to Pena's employer.
Pena also conspired to pay a $13,000 bribe to an EPISD trustee for lucrative contracts.
Pena faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced on April 20.
