EL PASO - Movies of the future may include the names of some El Paso students on the credits.
An El Paso native is teaching sixth graders at Radford School the ins and outs of filmmaking.
Everything from writing a script and filming to acting and editing.
Cinematographer Ellieann Fenton contacted the teacher and talked to Radford students about her new film "Lucha", a young woman's story of survival.
"It has to do with social issues of the border town, border towns, so she came up to me and said she would like to do a collaborative thing where we could raise awareness of the Radford program where we could teach the kids about filmmaking and also raise the community awareness about our film."
The students are making a film that will premier Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Radford School's Operetta Arts.
