One journal estimates a half million Americans are working while living in their campers or recreational vehicles.
Retirees and unemployed workers needing cash are loading up their RVs and heading to where the jobs are.
For instance, Amazon's warehouses in Kentucky, Kansas and Nevada are employing part time workers through Christmas Eve.
The workers get a parking spot in a company camp or in nearby campgrounds.
These “work-campers” also look to Christmas tree lots, pumpkin patches and amusement parks for seasonal work.
