JUAREZ - Police say a leading member of the Azteca gang has been arrested in what may be a step forward in the fight against Juarez violence.
Police say 32-year-old Arturo Gallegos is linked to at least 80 percent of the murders in Juarez since August. They say he's also tied the U.S. Consulate killings in March.
Gallegos, also known as El Farmero, was arrested during a raid. Several other people were also arrested, and police recovered two machine guns, handguns, drugs and one armored car.
