EL PASO - Firefighters say quick thinking neighbors helped save a Central El Paso house from burning this morning.
We're told the neighbors saw smoke and called 911. The fire department says that's exactly what you should do if you see smoke at your neighbor's house.
"As soon as they see smoke the 1st thing is to immediatly call 911. We'll go there, we'll arrive, we'll investigate and we'll take it from there," Victor Trejo said.
No one was inside the house, and it's still unclear how the fire started.
Firefighters say because the fire was spotted quickly, and put out just as fast, the inside of the home wasn't badly damaged.
