El Paso - About half a dozen students from El Paso Community College geared up for Thanksgiving by taking part in a pumpkin pie eating contest.
The student leadership and campus life organized the event and wanted to give students a chance to get away from all the stress school can bring.
The winner received an electronic recorder to take audio notes during class.
