The latest Harry Potter film took in $330 million in global ticket sales on its opening weekend.
That total includes the best-ever U.S. and Canadian debut for a Potter movie of $125.1 million.
That tops the previous best opening weekend for the franchise.
"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" brought in $102.7 million in its debut in 2005.
