EL PASO - A full-throttle approach to help needy children this holiday season...
Hundreds of bikers gathered at the Marine Corps Reserve Center just outside of Fort Bliss to participate in the Toys for Tots Annual Bike Run. Each rider donated money and a toy before hitting the road. More bikers joined the pack at each of the run's four stops.
"Participation is always to the max. The community's always there to participate in these events," said Sgt. Jose Chairez, USMC.
"The comradery...meeting all the people we had seen last year and get to go all over town and see all our brothers that are from here and it does us a lot of good to support the kids in this community," said Joe "Gordo" Valdez, biker.
Toys for Tots raffled off this brand new Harley Davidson at the last stop of the run.
