EL PASO--- One far East El Paso woman claims her home is sinking, thanks to shoddy builders.
Debbie Brooks bought her home on Diana Natalicio Dr. nearly a decade ago.
Since then, she's noticed several cracks forming, nails coming out of her walls and even the ground outside her home sinking inwards.
The root of the problem?
Engineers report the builders, Carefree Homes, built the home on questionable soil and put Brooks in danger.
Now, it seems the City of El Paso is stepping in.
But is this problem affecting more than just Brooks? Or could her neighborhood be involved?
