UPDATE: Three people confirmed on board the plane. A pilot and two game wardens. The craft is a Texas Wildlife plane. One passenger has already been pulled from the wreckage and is being transported down the mountain. The pilot remains trapped in what's left of the plane. Agencies on scene include Texas DPS, New Mexico State Police, El Paso Fire Department and Border Patrol Search and Rescue.
UPDATE: Pilot is trapped in the wreckage. Condition of others on board is unknown. Plane belongs to the U.S. Wildlife Service and possibly originated from Texas. New Mexico State Police say there are no fatalities.
UPDATE: New Mexico State Police now say the plane crashed into a mountain, two miles from Highway 404.
ANTHONY, NM - New Mexico State Police have confirmed the crash of a plane in Anthony Gap off Highway 404.
We're told three people were aboard the small plane. No word on their conditions.
Police say the plane went down around 11 a.m.
State police are headed to the scene.
