Montwood Wins District
Franklin scored in the final minute of play to win the Westside Bowl and defeat Coronado 26-23. The Cougars season would have ended with a defeat, instead Franklin is headed to the playoffs.
The T-Birds will also enter the postseason but not as district champions. That honor goes to Montwood who defeated Socorro 47-7 on Thursday night.
