Both candidates work on the County Commissioner's Court.
Veronica Escobar is the Commissioner from Precinct 2 and Jaime O. Perez, chief of staff for sitting County Judge Anthony Cobos.
They both agree the county deficit is the big issue but differ on how to solve the problem.
