El Paso – If you have an oustanding traffic warrant in El Paso County, the amnesty period to pay off your debt without facing jail time has been extended.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office says the amnesty period will continue through Friday, November 12th. It was first set to end last Friday.
The Sheirff's Office had planned a warrant roundup Monday, but will now move it to Tuesday, November 16th.
Deputies say that's when they will begin arresting people with outstanding traffic warrants at their home or office.
