EL PASO - It could be a major advancement in cancer treatment, and it was discovered at UTEP.
Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy expose their bodies to drugs that can be toxic, but that could soon change. A UTEP assistant professor and his colleagues have figured out a way to deliver chemo drugs directly to tumors.
The professor is presenting his findings right now in Albuquerque.
