We have the latest on the possible severe weather for the Borderlands. Storms will fire up ahead of our upper level low pressure system, which is currently sitting off to our west. Some storms could become severe late this afternoon and early during the evening hours. Main threat will be large hail, damaging winds, brief heavy rain, and even an isolated tornado or two. Severe storm threat will be most prominent from El Paso County eastward to Culberson County and into southern Otero County.
