Child Drowns In Las Cruces

Investigators in Las Cruces, are looking into the drowning death of a 2 year-old boy.

Just after 5:30, Tuesday evening, family members tell police they found the boy in an above-ground backyard swimming pool on the 1300 block of Coronado street.

Emergency crews performed CPR on the boy but he later died at the hospital.
