EL PASO - The defense took center stage today in the public corruption trial of Ernesto Lopez.
Lopez is accused of defrauding the federal government out of millions of dollars by claiming his company employed a staff that was 75-percent disabled to secure government contracts.
Today the defense argued there was confusion over what constituted a disabled worker.
Testimony resumes tomorrow.
