EL PASO - If you own a house in El Paso County, you're gonna pay about $20 more in property taxes.
That was was the decision made today by El Paso County Commissioners.
In a split vote, the commissioner's decided to raise property taxes by $20 a home instead of $41.
A victim of today's budget cuts were two associate courts including the elimination of one associate judge.
A move that will save the county nearly $800,000. The budget will be finalized October 4.
