According to Yahoo.com General Motors is testing software that will let drivers update their status on Facebook by talking. The software will also reportedly let you listen to your messages in the car.
The program would be made available through the On Star safety network.
GM is also testing a feature that would read cell phone text messages and allow them to respond by picking one of four preset replies with a button on the steering wheel.
There's no word when these systems will make their way into cars and the company says it will evaluate them thoroughly to make sure they don't distract drivers.
