A rotting, abandoned house in the lower valley has finally been cleaned up by the city and neighbors couldn't be happier.
We first brought you this report last week. Neighbors were upset because the property was attracting black widow spiders, rats, and stray cats. But it wasn't clear who the house belonged to.
Well the city cleared out the debris and a realtor told us he's trying to sell the property. However, because the owner is dead, it's been tricky.
"This is a case in point, why someone needs a will and needs an updated will," said realtor John Olivas.
He also says they're just waiting on one more document before they can close on the home. If this happens, the city would not foreclose on the property.
