U.S./MEXICO BORDER - A drone aircraft is finally on patrol along the Texas-Mexico border.
The unmanned aircraft launched from the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi.
The drone will help crack down on illegal activity on the border.
There are already six other drones operating along the border but this is the first one in Texas.
A small camera attached to the plane is monitored at a command center in Corpus Christi.
The camera can detect anything from illegal immigrants to drug smuggling operations.
