EL PASO - Good news for UTEP Miner football fans.
Star running back Donald Buckram has a bruised knee and no ligament damage.
Yesterday, the national player of the year candidate was carted off the field with an apparent knee injury.
He had an MRI last night.
Buckram set a school record last season with nearly 1,600 yards rushing.
Coaches say he was having a fantastic spring and summer training camp.
A game time decision will be made on whether Buckram plays on Saturday.
