EL PASO- UTEP's Swimming and Fitness Center expansion project will install it's last roof beam today, in what's called a "topping out" ceremony.
A "topping out" ceremony is a construction term for when the final structural piece to a new building is set into place.
UTEP says the $32 million project will provide students and staff with upgraded swimming and exercise equipment.
The final beam will be put into place at 11:30 a.m.
