Violence Affecting Tourism

All this worry about violence at the border has city officials worried that it's tarnishing El Paso's image.

The mayor says he's concerned that these recent events are giving people the wrong idea about the Sun City. Marketing experts agree that the city has its work cut out for it, in order to alter public perception.

Tonight at ten we'll speak with the president of the Convention and Visitors Bureau here in El Paso to see if the violence is affecting tourism numbers. We'll also see if he's worried that we'll have a hard time attracting big conventions in the future.
