The El Paso High Tigers revived a little under former coach Ronnie Hernandez, but he is gone to coach at Socorro, so enter in Robert Morales. He wants to continue the improvement at R.R. Jones Stadium.
"We lost a few seniors, I think maybe like seven seniors that were playing a lot, but we had a good group of juniors who are going to be seniors, so we have them coming back. We have 17 of them coming back. Our JV was really solid so we are looking forward to having a really successful season. Yeah, we are going to open it up a little bit more, offensively we are going to spread it out, and then defensively we are going to play a more aggressive style of defense."
El Paso High will open up the season hosting Fabens on Friday, August 27.
