Eastlake High School will open its doors to five hundred high schoolers Monday. The brand new campus features state of the art classrooms and technology. Teachers and administrators are excited to open a new education chapter in East El Paso.
"We have been waiting, imparticular, i've been waiting for five months for tomorrow. I can't sleep, not in bad way, not out of nervousness, more out of excitement for 8:15 tomorrow to begin," says Angelica Ramsey, Eastlake's inaugural principal.
Ramsey says Eastlake High has a committed staff of teachers dedicated to upholding standards of academic excellence.
